Well this was a big week. Kenzie turned sixteen. She picked out her pearl ring, Nielson family tradition. And Ryker lost his first tooth. My kids are doing so good. Jordan loves spending time with grandpa and grandma in Washington and will be coming home soon to visit. We do miss him. Troy is busy farming and working with Ryker on his baseball. I love summer.

And Ryker old enough to lose his teeth. Crazy!
So I guess I need to sit down with you girls and ask about traditions so I can carry hem on. I didn't know about the ring but love the idea. :) Glad everyone is doing well. We're excited to see you soon.
My niece Megan and I were talking about the pearl ring and she thought it was a great idea to represent, and remind, the girls of purity. I thought that was a great idea. I think so far I am the only one to carry on the tradition. I still have my ring and always wanted Kenzie to have one of her own. I love mom and dad for starting this. You take your daughter out to dinner, just the three of you. Mom and dad would talk to us about the proper way to act on a date. We would also get our pearl ring that night. It was a special day for us.
